I think it's stopped raining, which will at least make the dog happy. This morning she got [had] to wear her yellow rain slicker to the park.

Happy Birthday Daniel!
Happy Anniversary Jilli and Pete!
I'm wearing my black cat &pumpkin earrings, but no costume.
10 so far not including accompanying adults. But bunches are passing me by a I'm standing on the lit stoop with candy in hand.
I ate too much candy at work today. That's enough Halloween for me!
I'm realizing that I should have put the sticker on my license plate earlier in the week when it wasn't raining. No costume for me, unless 3 shades of gray counts.
I threw them into the freezer (which I hope is fine, but I figure they'd last longer. We'd LOVE to see you!
That's exactly where they live at my place, Kat.
I'll resurrect our email and find a time that works.
Congratulations on the NBCT renewal!

Counts. Gray always counts in my world.
Oh, hey, here's a picture of the shoes and hat that were the basis for today's outfit from probably back when I bought them [link] Shoes today [link] (surprisingly comfortable, actually, but I couldn't get a good angle of them while they were on my feet) and me at work [link]
Cutie-pie kidlets at the office barely made a dent in my candy. I think I might not bother turning the porch light on. I'm tired, I don't want to be hopping up to open the door.
Kids are home and the house is full of candy. Dylan is finally old enough this year to understand the value of selling me some of his candy, so I bought 8 pieces for a quarter each. (He is, unfortunately, also old enough to understand which is the good candy, so one of those 8 pieces was a bag of 100% fruit snacks, which may find their way back into his lunch box.)
We have SO MUCH CANDY left. Stoopid rain. We have a full bag of Snickers, a full bag of Milky Ways, and almost half a bag of those little packs of M&Ms.
And for some reason my notorious sweet tooth is broken lately. I've been craving salty stuff, celery, and quinoa cooked in vegetable broth. WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN.
So all the leftover candy will eventually get eaten, but I don't feel like a ravening beast around it, which is weird.
Colleagues tried pawning off a huge bag of Ofeo cookies off on me. Had to remind them that I don't crave sweet (let alone nasty Oreos) and would much rather prefer a roasted chicken with russet potatoes with rosemary and parsnips. I'm not even a chip fan. Give me a bucket of olives still with the pits, or veggies with ranch dressing. But chocolate? I don't get that craving. I dig Almond Joy, but the joy is the almonds and the coconut. Or those hazelnut thingies, Ferrer Rocher or something. And hot chocolate should have cayenne pepper in it.
I'm the person who doesn't understand when someone says they have a craving for chocolate. When I get a craving, usually it's for spinach.
