I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

omg, I just found a huge mistake/lack of work done by someoen else and now I have to fix it! My own messes are enough to fix, do not want to have to clean up others.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am Ruth Bader Ginsburg and people seem to be digging it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Saw the pic on FB, Scrappy, and I am digging it too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A couple of people here are dressed up, and we got to go through the Haunted Office, which was fun. (And impressive! And just someone's office.) And also got a flu shot (SCARY!) and watched a movie with my coworkers.

I would like to understand why no one has told be about Take 5 bars before. They are amazing!

How do you guys freeze large volumes of soup? I use 1-2 portion sized tupperware (that came to 4 with this recipe) and freeze 2/3 of it immediately, and keep 1/3 in one container in the fridge to eat in the short term.

About like that. I can never figure out how to do it in ziplocks, mostly because it's usually in my Le Crueset, and that's too heavy to pour out of one-handed, so the container needs to stand on its own.

Apparently Neko Case is doing a live Tiny Desk Concert on NPR right now, but it won't load for me. Boo. [link]

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

That's good stuff alright.

Ethan Rayne, man.

Punishingly Intricate

I've been loving the freezable Bell jars for freezing stock or leftover soup. I have a bunch of quart sized ones.

I wore my Jedi robe & was an office Jedi ("these are not the TPS reports you're looking for".) Best costume was my coworker who dressed as a kidney which is thematically appropriate to our project (developing a system to measure the quality of End Stage Renal Disease facilities).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

mostly because it's usually in my Le Crueset, and that's too heavy to pour out of one-handed, so the container needs to stand on its own.

I either ladle with a proper ladle, or scoop soup with a spouted container.

Which reminds me, I am totally out of vegetable broth. Maybe I'll do that this weekend...or maybe I'm souped out.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't have a ladle! I do have one waiting for me at my new apartment, which I keep meaning to bring back to my current apartment, but whatever. Sometimes I use the cup measure, but it's so much more fiddly than pouring.

Tale 5 bars are pretty good, yes.

I'm going out tonight as Rosie the Riveter but first I want a nap.
