I've been loving the freezable Bell jars for freezing stock or leftover soup. I have a bunch of quart sized ones.
I wore my Jedi robe & was an office Jedi ("these are not the TPS reports you're looking for".) Best costume was my coworker who dressed as a kidney which is thematically appropriate to our project (developing a system to measure the quality of End Stage Renal Disease facilities).
mostly because it's usually in my Le Crueset, and that's too heavy to pour out of one-handed, so the container needs to stand on its own.
I either ladle with a proper ladle, or scoop soup with a spouted container.
Which reminds me, I am totally out of vegetable broth. Maybe I'll do that this weekend...or maybe I'm souped out.
I don't have a ladle! I do have one waiting for me at my new apartment, which I keep meaning to bring back to my current apartment, but whatever. Sometimes I use the cup measure, but it's so much more fiddly than pouring.
Tale 5 bars are pretty good, yes.
I'm going out tonight as Rosie the Riveter but first I want a nap.
There is some dressing up at the store today (within limitations). I had to go in this morning briefly and there was a guy dressed as one of the Assasian's Creed characters (sans sword), Fiona from Adventure Time, Captain Hammer, and one of the guys I work with regularly said he was going to wear his fencing gear, but when I left he was in regular clothes. (although I'm not really sure if that counts as a costume since he actually fences). And someone was the Crow. Supposedly there were a few other people going to dress up.
I'm going in later to take posession of a beta fish (someone's moving, I volunteered to take it home with me) and check out the other costumes.
I am most pleased with my grumpy pumpkin. I'll need to be sure to get a picture of it when it's lit up.
About like that. I can never figure out how to do it in ziplocks, mostly because it's usually in my Le Crueset, and that's too heavy to pour out of one-handed, so the container needs to stand on its own.
Place the ziploc in a coffee cup or measuring cup.

Really? I do it because it's much more controlled for me with a spout and a vertical handle than trying to wrestle a pot with a wider diameter. I only pour up--from a smaller container into a larger--unless I have zero choices.
For some reason, I just found myself reading an article on investing bad ideas, and it gives me that vague feeling that this should be more meaningful to me, that I should be using this information, but...I don't
invest
I let my money sit.
On the flip side, the family members that urged me to get into day trading in 1993 probably made more than half of those mistakes, and that may or may not have had something to do with the millionaires declaring bankruptcy 10-15 years later.
JZ is in full Snow White costume today.
Matilda wore her Suki costume from Avatar to school. JZ made it by hand and it's gorgeous.
ION, mostly relevant to myself but worth noting: Pamela Anderson got a pixie cut.
She looks so much better. Who knew she had such delicate features?

That IS a grumpy pumpkin!
Our pumpkins are somewhat creepy -- Tim's wants to suck your blood, and mine is looking INTO YOUR SOUL: [link]
