My motto--Go strong, you can always repaint.
See, I want to go easy (whatever is there now) because I can always repaint! When I have time to throw it on the walls and see what it actually looks like. I just can't extrapolate well from the little bits of color I have here.
You can take the fabric to the paint place and they can match the color with the magic machine.
But maybe it's not the right fabric! Also, the one I'm leaning toward is an off-white base, so maybe it's perfect with the cream wall color. Who knows! (Also, I don't feel like cancelling my plans tonight to go over and look at everything in situ, which doesn't help....)
oooh, no, I hadn't. Parasols! More parasols!
OMG the family drama. Just talked to another cousin (J - the one who had the roll over accident a few years back) about being happy to see her in a couple of weeks at cousin H's wedding. Well J and her hubby aren't going. Apparently that whole side of the family had done an intervention for H, sending her to rehab which she never completed. Part of the intervention was that the family would only support her if she finished rehab. So, J and hubby are all - you didn't finish rehab, we aren't supporting you. While H's mom is all - It is ok you didn't finish rehab, you found God so all is good. At least that is the story I'm getting from J. I also have not heard great things about H's fiance, so this is going to be a REAL interesting wedding. I'm staying at J's after the wedding, so I'll still get to see her.
Drama, man. Makes the crap going on here seem like peanuts.
Parasols! More parasols!
Jilli, I seem to remember combat grade umbrellas or parasols coming up a few months ago--can you re-orient me?
Jesse, I can see a nice slate blue like this [link] going well with white and dark gray.
