In a thrilling post office update, I have mailed a letter without having to deal with another human.

Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This

Woo!
Project File All The Things discovered a shoebox of bills (paid, I think) from 2007.
Ugh, I'm such a mess about the design decisions in my new kitchen. We had talked about gray walls (white cabinets, dark gray counters and floor), but apparently the contractor painted the walls some creamy color that my mother thinks looks yellow. So she was going to have him re-paint, but now I can't figure out what kind of gray to get, especially because the paint chips I got now look bad with the fabric swatches I got for a cushion I'll need for a bench! I dunno. I told my mother to leave the walls cream, and we'll see. I just feel like my odds of making a bad choice are so high, I don't want to make one at all!
My motto: you can never go wrong with purple.
My motto--Go strong, you can always repaint.
See, I want to go easy (whatever is there now) because I can always repaint! When I have time to throw it on the walls and see what it actually looks like. I just can't extrapolate well from the little bits of color I have here.
You can take the fabric to the paint place and they can match the color with the magic machine.
But maybe it's not the right fabric! Also, the one I'm leaning toward is an off-white base, so maybe it's perfect with the cream wall color. Who knows! (Also, I don't feel like cancelling my plans tonight to go over and look at everything in situ, which doesn't help....)
