I have been looking for a decent pair of boot cut jeans that fit well and flatter and don't cost $200 for 3 years now. Fucking skinny jeans can bite me.
I'm a Prime member, so I buy from Amazon willy-nilly (and then return what I don't like), but I've found that the Calvin Klein bootcuts are a) flattering b) comfy and c) durable. And they tend to be $70 or less.
I don't think I've ever paid $70 for an item of clothing that was my own money.
Skipping yet again because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is aurelia's birthday.
Happy birthday, aurelia! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Casper is 10, and for shoes we are firmly in the women's department (size 8). But while she is close to five feet tall, she is still built like a 10 year old - I happen to have measured her recently, and she's about 24-22-24. Adult clothes would swim on her still. (For comparison, J Crew's size 00 assumes a 34 inch hip.) I suppose I could try the "juniors" section of a department store, but then we are back into the "clothes styled for teenagers" problem.
I am honestly considering trying to talk her into boys' corduroy pants.
Birthday Happies, aurelia!
Happy birthday, aurelia! With cake!
