Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

WHEW - I think we will make it. We need to leave in about 40 minutes..

I want to play you that speedy-montage music.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I love taking pictures of babies too. And holding babies and sniffing their wee heads.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Whoa -- Good Stuff turned three today! I would not have guessed it had been that long.

Huh. That's awesome but I wouldn't have thought that long.

Then again, I had to list how long I'd known a bunch of people and even when I used f2f dates for some b.org peeps, it was kinda a while.

Yay, Good Stuff! Happy birthday. I remember when you were just a vague concept because the world seemed overwhelmingly bad to some of us. And now you're three!

You also rock, Jesse!

Aw, thanks. It would literally be 90% baby animals if not for your submissions.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yay, Good Stuff!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Curating is no joke! You have taken an offhand idea and made it so pretty.

Three years is longer than most of the people I'm following have been on Tumblr. It's ridic. But they probably hadn't gone through puberty yet. My tumblr is five.

Damn! I overbaked the oat-almond cookies, and they're not really edible. Which is sad, but since the balls of batter didn't spread out, I worried that their little tummies were still raw.

But, damn, I do feel wonky after eating that one half cookie, so maybe I'm sensitive to almonds? That would suck...

Five! WTF. Time flies, man.

Sort of relatedly, I was just reading the Best American Mystery Stories from 2008, and the stories were alpha by author, and still both the first and the last were about Katrina. It makes me wonder if Pelecanos (the editor) didn't game his selections a little.

Tumblr's only been around since 2007. Damn, don't some things just feel ubiquitous? When did FB start allowing everyone in? I remember getting in because I had a UCLA email address, or some bullshit.
