And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

People really don't understand the difference between public and private anymore.

Ugh.

I just feel like it shouldn't be that hard to determine if you're in an appropriate location for a confidential conversation. Are there strangers nearby?

Maybe he knows NSA surveillance is so pervasive he just naturally assumes there's no such thing as privacy anyway, so why bother!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I recommend tamoxifen for those of you who want to keep your thermostats down.

I'm thinking of trying to write a blog post every day for my version of Nano.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Warning - blatant bragging ahead. I just got the following e-mail from my boss after sharing my travel schedule for the next month...

You are clearly providing really valuable support. I see it here with [SLC PM]'s work, and I also get that sense from others. [High level dude] was looking for a Controls lead for a project in Ghana that has pretty high visibility, and he requested “someone like Suzi”. We had to tell him that you were kind of busy (and she’s not in the international sector – so hands off, damn it!), but his mention of you means to me you doing really good work.

I'm working from home and blushing up a storm.

Because books.

Suzi is a ROCK STAR, which I knew all along.

Ginger, daily blogging for NaNo is a great idea!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Suzi? Yeah, she's awesome.

The sun is reflecting off my cup of coffee onto the wall, and Cosmo cat is ENTHRALLED. Oh, cat...

God DAMN, I hate putting away laundry.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Brava, Suzi!

I slept too late: I was at a friend's house last night and she has two new cats, so at the three-hour mark, my lungs began to seize up. Which meant a Benedryl when I got home. Now I'm awake but have been coughing for the last five minutes. Argh.

On the other hand, I had pie for breakfast, and that's always good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was gonna have pie for breakfast, but I pulled out the non-wheat flours in my cupboard to see what a) recipes were on the package and b) what other uses that might pop up. So, the oat flour package has an oat pancake recipe, and I think I have everything else for them, so upcoming noms.
