All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Or a Grimm episode.

The police report says the cat attacked the baby but it was really the other way around. Kid's adopted and the parents didn't expect her to be ready for solid foods let alone meat so soon.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Poor cat. Give that cat away to someone who likes cats and doesn't have any kids, and everything will be fine. If you like cats, don't read the comments.

Okay, this all-of-the-gigs-landing-on-the-exact-same-dates thing is getting frustrating, especially with how very little work I am finding.

I'm already not thrilled about putting, first, lowest paying gig on hold, probably pissing him off in the process, to wait on a maybe from a better paying, closer gig that would prevent me from taking the first gig. Meanwhile, I just got a notice from third, even better paying gig, with days that conflict with the second gig, but are only for a couple of days, as opposed to a five week run on the second gig, which is a maybe.

I'm probably just going to have to turn down the first guy, who seems like a grumpy gus already, and will likely never want to hire me again. He hates "flakes," and would likely view my backing out as flaking. I'm currently inclined to hold out for the second gig, but this is really more of a right-now-only opportunity to get in with this place, which means I'll have to turn down third gig. While I've accepted work from the third gig (the Wallis in Beverly Hills), I've also mostly had to turn them down due to scheduling conflicts, and I don't know how many more times I can do that and stay on their call last rotation.

And on top of everything, I'm down to begging for handouts just to eat and get around.

I'm glad I have friends, and I'm really glad I'm still dong well in school, otherwise I might be a lot more frustrated and blue.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Sean}}} I'm sorry that everything continues to be so frustrating. I'm happy at least school is a positive in your life.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Having to look for work sucks.

And sometimes having a job sucks. People are calling from all over the country demanding police take further action on that cat attack situation because obviously they know more about cat abuse/child abuse from the 3 paragraph articles they have read on the interwebs than the responding police officers sussed out while there on the scene. I've talked to three different people in 3 different states (and a lady in Minnesota who has called FOUR TIMES and been referred to call Animal Control FOUR TIMES because police WILL NOT do a follow up to check on a cat who might not be in the best living situation possible.) I get the concern, I really really do, but calling police in another state over an article you read on Buzzfeed? Thinking our police are so incredibly incompetent it might not even OCCUR to them to consult with DHS or Animal Control? *headdesk* I am trying SO HARD to be polite to these people. So. Very. Hard.
