I hope so too.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Well, another four to six weeks before I know anything. But on the upside, I may be getting a steady gig for the weekends. Hopefully that would start this weekend.
So, mixed news day. Eh.
I think this has the making of a Portlandia sketch true story, ya'll And not to worry animal lovers: the kitty was not taken into custody and was not shot, tazed, or injured by responding police. Here in the call center we were highly amused when the police net had to take non emergency off the air while "challenging the cat." That's a once in a lifetime experience.
So, does anybody else see Drew and Kristin joining the

Or a Grimm episode.
The police report says the cat attacked the baby but it was really the other way around. Kid's adopted and the parents didn't expect her to be ready for solid foods let alone meat so soon.
Poor cat. Give that cat away to someone who likes cats and doesn't have any kids, and everything will be fine. If you like cats, don't read the comments.
Okay, this all-of-the-gigs-landing-on-the-exact-same-dates thing is getting frustrating, especially with how very little work I am finding.
I'm already not thrilled about putting, first, lowest paying gig on hold, probably pissing him off in the process, to wait on a maybe from a better paying, closer gig that would prevent me from taking the first gig. Meanwhile, I just got a notice from third, even better paying gig, with days that conflict with the second gig, but are only for a couple of days, as opposed to a five week run on the second gig, which is a maybe.
I'm probably just going to have to turn down the first guy, who seems like a grumpy gus already, and will likely never want to hire me again. He hates "flakes," and would likely view my backing out as flaking. I'm currently inclined to hold out for the second gig, but this is really more of a right-now-only opportunity to get in with this place, which means I'll have to turn down third gig. While I've accepted work from the third gig (the Wallis in Beverly Hills), I've also mostly had to turn them down due to scheduling conflicts, and I don't know how many more times I can do that and stay on their call last rotation.
And on top of everything, I'm down to begging for handouts just to eat and get around.
I'm glad I have friends, and I'm really glad I'm still dong well in school, otherwise I might be a lot more frustrated and blue.
{{{Sean}}} I'm sorry that everything continues to be so frustrating. I'm happy at least school is a positive in your life.
Oh yeah, and all of my non-theatre realated applications have gone ignored.
