Fred: Oh my God! Angel, you're…cute! Angel: Fred, don't! Fred: Oh, but the little hands! And the hair! Angel: Hey! You're fired.

'Smile Time'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

A memory-mantra is a good thing to have.

Teppy, thank you. I do sneak onto FB every week or so, but just to check on geographically distant relatives who can't be arsed to email. And while there the other day, I noticed a bunch of well-wishes and left a blanket thank you. I have to say, I really love the low-key celebration thing. Plus, there are as-yet undiscovered presents to look out for, and to look forward to. "I think, the slightly more expensive stripey petunia plants, instead of the standard ones, for the front pots. For my birthday!"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Popping in to say hi. I've been reading and lurking but haven't had the time or spoons to really participate. But I am reading and nodding and sending ~ma.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

New stove is here. We're testing it by making tea.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay! I am enjoying a cuppa here as well.

I have just listened to a bit of each of the titles on the music mix that Hec assembled for my 60th party tonight and have a smonster sleeping off the long drive from NOLA in the other room. I made a big quiche (broccoli and cauliflower) earlier and DH bought croissants. Short version, all is well in the world.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good start to a wonderful birthday!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Happy birthday! Glad you've got NOLA represented.

Our wings are not tired.

We'll take good care of her and make sure she is well rested before the trip back.

TCG is taking me out for falafel. I expect a natural disaster to suddenly appear to stop us.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy birthday Laura! I wish I could have been there to celebrate with you
