Work kind of sucked today it was a short (ish) stressful day. Made mostly stressful but co workers promising customers things we can't deliver.
So now I have to talk to a co worker and possibly their supervisor over an issue. It's really cool at best buy you can order stuff over the phone. YAY! like ordering it online, only you can get questions answered and what not. However, you can't order somethings, like stuff that's not in stock at all (currently the PS4) or installation services where paper work has to be signed for liability reasons.
One of my coworkers pretty much made it sound like all a customer would need to do is call and order an appliance and pay for the installation over the phone. And there's no way, but he just threw it out there as an option, he didn't think she'd want to do that. Only she does. And now she can't. And now she doesn't want to shop with us.
Plus it looks like they are seriously dragging their feet on hiring a department manager and it maybe sometime in March before that is finalized. My little area doesn't have a supervisor and won't have one until the manager is highered, so we're kind of left without any real guidence.
One of the department managers has stepped up and started doing scheduling and stuff, which is fine. But the guy they hired full time to be my "partner in crime" pretty much applied to the position to get away from that manager. It really doesn't help that New Guy was really vocal his first week about how working our position is EASY and like having a vacation, compared to being on the salesfloor and just gushed about how good he has it now.
Only, he's finding Not so much. It has it's own challengs. And one of this is that his ex manager, thinks he's slacking off.
