Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm working on the kitchen, but my husband keeps calling and interrupting me. But the dishwasher has been loaded and unloaded again.

I will take a shower, eat lunch, go to the library for Gravity Falls DVDs, go to the gym, and email the petsitter. Yes. Yes I will.

And, you know, other actual paying work in there, too.

I walked almost a mile to breakfast (somehow Yelp thought it was .3 miles away but google later told me .9?). Now I have to walk back to the hotel, do some work, and eventually drive a couple hours away to my other hotel. Also on the agenda: work out, shop. Now sure hen those are all fitting together though.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I randomly started getting Glamour last year, and I called them to find out what the deal was, because I sure didn't subscribe. Apparently I when I bought shoes from shoebuy.com, there was some deal where you got s subscription to Glamour. So as long as they confirmed I wasn't going to be charged, that's fine with me. I just took the issues to the gym and left them for people to read on the treadmills.

That reminds me I randomly received an issue of rebook yesterday, saying it was a gift from bluefly. I don't even remember ever ordering anything from bluefly, but I went to the website to cancel that. I hope that takes care of that.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We had our meeting with Em's principal today and came away with good feelings. He took Emeline's want to basically start an anti-bullying campaign and wants to run with it to empower her. I couldn't be more pleased. Joe still wishes we could just go in and get in the offender's face, but he sees the problem in that kind of scenario.

Well, no call from Hubby, I'm assuming he survived his injection of fugu extract all right.

this!

I doubt I have the chance to do anything personal today at all. I know I won;t get to leave the office.

We've already had boss' boss come in to give us all a semi-ass-chewing. We had a hostile driver call in complaining about one of our trucks slinging rocks and mud around a highway. dumbass driver. and thus far (noon), I have done none of what I typicall do in a day. so paper is piling up.

Compassionately intolerant

Go Emeline! Championing herself and others is the sort of experience that will stay with her always. How nice that the principal is cooperative.

I randomly received Ebony and Disney Kids magazine having NOT signed up with any subscription service. It remains a mystery how that happened, and tt was a chore ending that account. I have to confess, I don't know that I ever got a refund.
