[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Tons of ~ma for your DH, Connie and for you as well. I hope that the treatments are as easy on him as possible.

For BillyTea. A camera disguised as a penguin egg, picked up by a falcon, gets great aerial footage of penguin colony.

Sending so many good thoughts your way, Connie and Hubby.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

brillig

Wow, quiet in here today.

So, one down. He did not have the reactions they were afraid of, so that's one hurdle down. He feels pretty good at the moment. We were warned that Wednesday will probably be different. He has to go in twice more this week for other drugs. Transporting him is going to be a little complicated, but we should be able to work it. If he sits for an hour or so, if today is any gauge, he is capable of driving himself.

A woman came in part way through, grey-faced, uncommunicative, supported by her husband and sister. She'd had her first dose three days ago. I was staring at her, seeing what I was sure would be my husband in a few days. However, turns out she hadn't thought the nausea was bad enough for the drugs, and the swelling and reddening around her incision wasn't really that bad. Hubby is far smarter than that.

I was not impressed with the staff. We accept that all patients are different and YMMV, but the staff refused to give anything resembling a clear answer, even for "So I have to come back Tuesday and Wednesday?" "Maybe? Is that what you were told?" "Yes. Don't you have it written down?" "I'm not sure." "Can you check?" "I think so."

5 more rounds taking most of a week, three weeks apart. We shall see.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Tep (and anyone else who has suggestions), I have a question about ladyparts and antibiotics. Relevant question in whitefont.

I have strep throat and am on a 10-day course of antibiotics. Yay. I am worried about my ladybidness because I always get yeast infections after a course of antibios. Is there anything I can get over the counter or do to help my situation out? The 1-day Monistat (and even the 3-day) burns like 1000 suns. So I can only do the 5-day (?) I think. I will do that, but it would be great if there were other alternatives.

Congrats Hil!

Connie, I am pleased today went okay. Crossing fingers for the rest of the week.
