Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

'War Stories'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I read that Costco has low-cost drugs

They tend to have significantly the best pricing. It still pays to check around but I save a LOT using them and am grateful.

Our wings are not tired.

Where are you on the housing situation?

Momentarily stable. Not the best solution, but we moved back into our house that is under renovation. The up side is that we are here to do the stuff on the punch list and be around to meet with contractors and so forth. The down side is that all the brand new appliances and bath fixtures and so forth are now being used. We are trying to go room by room and do the construction completion then 'stage' for sale, while living here. We did settle with the evil bank and although they of course stole from us, I just need it behind me. Letting go isn't one of my strong suits.

Certainly a lot of people have worse living situations!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh Laura, I'm glad things are moving forward and that you are shut of the evil bank. Good luck with the renovation! And the appliances will still be brand new, you're just doing beta testing.

Yay for meds, Pix!

Y'all, to cap my day off one of my roomies gave me Allie Brosh's book and I finally went to a yoga class! And was able during to neither try to be the "good student" nor beat up on myself for not holding all the poses. Still bought a pack of smokes after, but baby steps. Now time for shower and bed.

The status is NOT quo.

Happy to hear some better news all around.

And sj, I meant to say earlier that my thoughts will be with you when you have the cyst removed.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yay smonster!

I took another ballet class, but it's a 90 minute class, and I feel like 60 minutes is great, and the last 30 minutes is Just Too Much. Ugh.

Fingers crossed it goes smooth from here out, Laura!!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

sj, may the cyst removal go easily and you heal quickly.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

so glad you had a good day smonser.

If you can't get a wake up light - how about an inexpensive timer? It sounds evil to me - but a light going on 10 - 15 min after I wake up - would work

SJ - my best to you

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, everyone. I'm getting more nervous the closer it gets, even though logically I know it is not a big deal.

Yesterday was gorgeous and sunny out, but I didn't have a car so I was stuck in the house. Today, I have my car back, but it is miserable and rainy outside. I should still go out because staying home all day is bad for my mental health, but I can't find my motivation.

brillig

I have such a cold coming on. Should I wear a mask to keep from infecting Hubby or should he wear on in self-defense against everyone?
