Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Happy to hear some better news all around.

And sj, I meant to say earlier that my thoughts will be with you when you have the cyst removed.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yay smonster!

I took another ballet class, but it's a 90 minute class, and I feel like 60 minutes is great, and the last 30 minutes is Just Too Much. Ugh.

Fingers crossed it goes smooth from here out, Laura!!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

sj, may the cyst removal go easily and you heal quickly.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

so glad you had a good day smonser.

If you can't get a wake up light - how about an inexpensive timer? It sounds evil to me - but a light going on 10 - 15 min after I wake up - would work

SJ - my best to you

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, everyone. I'm getting more nervous the closer it gets, even though logically I know it is not a big deal.

Yesterday was gorgeous and sunny out, but I didn't have a car so I was stuck in the house. Today, I have my car back, but it is miserable and rainy outside. I should still go out because staying home all day is bad for my mental health, but I can't find my motivation.

I have such a cold coming on. Should I wear a mask to keep from infecting Hubby or should he wear on in self-defense against everyone?

Ann, that's a ferret.

I recommend going to bed and pulling the covers over your head. Or maybe that's just how I feel like dealing with the world these days.

Compassionately intolerant

Connie, if you have a mask version that is comfortable to Hubby, I'd go with him wearing it. That way, any errant germ is blocked. However, if you have a 'blowy' cold, it couldn't hurt for you both to wear one...and washing hands a lot, for the both of you.

Oh, I wish I could hide under the covers. He's up getting another colonoscopy for test purposes. And we haven't even gotten started on the drugs. Bah.

I was going to put off taking a vacation till later in the year, when we knew how it was going, but I need a week where I'm not juggling work on top of everything.
