Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Whew! I talked to my boss about the work drama, and when I told her what I'd done "so this happened, and then I did this..." she was like "...yeah, so?" and then was like "Wait, so is the project manager complaining, or just the site?" and I was like "Reallllly just the site" and she was like "Oh, OK. Yeah, be good"

...now if only that was motivation to get cracking on work. Though I do feel more awake this morning than sometimes. I gotta remember to use my blue light more often/always, I do think it helps.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

smonster, I meant to say earlier that I hope today isn't too difficult for you, and that you're able to sleep tonight.

Our wings are not tired.

I read that Costco has low-cost drugs and you do not have to be a member to get them.

She is a member of Costco. I'll ask her.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Learned helplessness is sad to watch, Laura. And you can't fix someone who has it. Another practical suggestion that might be of use for your sister is to contact the drug manufacturer - sometimes they have coupons or vouchers for discounts. All the drug manufacturers claim that they don't want anyone going without medications just because the meds are too expensive.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I think those vouchers are usually for newer drugs that don't have generics, but you can always check.

You guys, really. Thank you. I'd cry again but my eyelids are just losing that bee stung look, so no. juliana, Costco had a wake up light on sale over Xmas but I was didn't budget well enough to get it. But I save my coins and trade them in with Coinstar to get Amazon gift credits, so maybe soon.

Today is going really well. I am being careful to stay focused and ask questions to make sure I'm doing what the PM thinks I should. No one is being rude or giving me sideeye. And with that lunch is over. Toodles.

The status is NOT quo.

Yay good day, smonster!

I too had a better day. I'm feeling like crap after this many days off meds, but I was able to get a sample pack from my doc and take one at lunch, and of course the mail order also finally showed up. I'm hopeful I'll be feeling normal by tomorrow. Thanks for the words of support.

Go, smonster! I'm glad you had a good day, and I hope you have another good day tomorrow.

Thanks, and no not wrong. I'm hoping to be quite out of it, because I don't like pain.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, the tide is turning! I also made some progress on my sister's issues. My flaky mind recalled that one of my good friends is a pharma rep, and his sister a psychiatrist. They have been friends of mine for a couple decades. Anyway, my sister is on the opposite coast, but he basically said that if we can manage to get a formal consult then she can do what it takes to get her meds straight. Have some bureaucratic hoops to wrangle, but it is doable.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's great news, Laura.

Where are you on the housing situation?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I read that Costco has low-cost drugs

They tend to have significantly the best pricing. It still pays to check around but I save a LOT using them and am grateful.
