That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

sj, if that was your MiL, well. The words I have in mind are much, much worse than the ones she used about you. That is some BULL. SHIT.

Oh, Connie. I hope that slides right under the radar. Yipes.

Flip side of NOLA - out walking Frankie boy, stopped for a chat with my neighbor. Insisted on sharing a "nightcap," which turned out to be a swig of very smooth moonshine out of a mason jar he keeps in his car. And then he asked me out, which I hope will not turn into an awkward thing. eta ahaha, he asked my roommate out not more than 5 min later. Nice.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, smonster.

I can't actually sleep because I have an unrelated upset stomach.

Connie, I hope no one at work notices.

brillig

Unfortunately, that particular chat is one that goes through a double-checking process, but the woman who does that is nice, and I just told her I'd done something stupid. I've learned that pointing out stupidity in advance gives you the opportunity to spin something into "whacky but harmless" rather than "OMG how could you!"

And again, it could have been so, so much worse. It was a nice gen, no-porn story.

Our wings are not tired.

Do I strike anyone here as a hold digging, manipulative bitch?

There's gold! Lead me to it bitch; I'll help you dig!

Ha.

Connie, yeah. Better to own up on your own.

I hate my job today. It's impossible. Pretty much literally. Depressing. Not the carpentry part, the lead cleaning part.

Ooops, Connie. I have to say if I was on the other end of that chat I would have laughed hysterically.

I hope you got some rest, sj. Don't let the crazy mess with your sleep.

Sends test~ma. Also, gives smonster's job the stink eye.

I did sleep, but I also woke up filled with rage. I'm trying to let it go this morning.

smonster, I'm sorry work is frustrating today.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

sj, I absolutely know how you feel. The best advice I can give you is to ignore it. You married TCG not his parents and only his opinion matters.

Much peace and strength to you.
