Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

sj, I'm trying to think of supportive things to say, and coming up all bras.

Arthur, you are one lucky cat to have humans who love you as much as yours do. If your star is destined to burn only a short while, may it burn bright and true. But, you know, it would be very acceptible for it to burn bright and true for years to come.

Sean, still thinking of you.

Ha! Well, making me laugh helps. No IUI this month because insurance said no more. I can't start IVF for at least two more cycles. My thyroid is normal but in a range that puts me at a higher risk for miscarriage, so now I have to start thyroid medication. No clomid this month because apparently I have a cyst that is giving off estrogen (I think that is what the nurse said). And I have to go for a test next week in which I have to take a bunch of antibiotics and advil all at once, and the last time I did that I got so very sick. t /tmi Sorry for the brain dump.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

sj they upped my thyroid for each pregnancy. I can at least assure you there that the meds are very easy to tolerate.

Thanks, Burrell. I have new medicine phobia, but hearing that really helps. Did they leave you on it throughout the pregnancies?

Sean, I hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry you didn't have better news for Arthur, Fred.

sj, I hope the meds aren't as bad this time around.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sorry to hear about Arthur, Fred.

He's lucky to have you two as people.

I've taken it regularly for 11+ years as I am hypothyroid. But I was first diagnosed when I was TTC.

I won't be taking the meds that I had trouble with again; it will be an all new set when I start IVF. Hopefully the thyroid meds will be fine, like Burrell said.

TCG takes thyroid meds too, with no problem. I've had my thyroid tested a million times, but it is always normal. I guess it still is, just not for pregnancy.
