Yeah. He's my hero.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm glad there was security and am appalled at humans.

My stock is put away in the freezer. As soon as the solids remaining cool down, I will go toss them in the trash. Leftovers except for some turkey that needs to be put in smaller portions to freeze are all dealt with appropriately. The last load of dishes (stock pots and strainers and some leftovers needed to be put into other things) is ready to start.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, Bev! That's not good.

Did I ever tell you my story of being online in the early Internetty days and lurking on a grieving widows forum? So so so many of them had husbands fall off ladders and die during home repairs.

People don't think about it but it's dangerous up there.

Hope he heals up quick and easy.

Everybody else...be careful on ladders! Lots of ladder-ful tasks between now and New Year's.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Bev, all the bone-healing-and-good-surgery~ma.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, the ladder's being retired for the time being.

Hope the surgery is easy and that B is a good patient through the healing and the rest of recovery.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yikes, Beverly! Healing ~ma for H.!

Am so tired. Good day, fun company, long drive, bad meal, much wine.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Poor H and wrist of H!

Compassionately intolerant

The richest possible healing ~ma coming H's way, Beverly. May the bones knit easily and the trauma be fleeting.
