Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Tumblr is so broken for me right now. Need to see Who. Can't buy and watch Who until tomorrow. Can't spend the time until tomorrow on Tumblr.

No more mystery packages in the freezer!

I tape post-its to all of my containers. It's the one well-intentioned deed that I've stuck to with my freezer.

The status is NOT quo.

When will the Day of the Doctor show up on iTunes? I read on one site not until Dec 1st, which is killing me since I spent the $25 to get the 50th anniversary collection. I just bought a Monday night ticket to a local theatre because I didn’t think I could see it any other way--was I wrong?

Article (and I closed that tab a while ago) said tomorrow for iTunes.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hope to emulate you, Cass.

New refrigerator is very clean. Perhaps I should take a picture to remember what a clean refrigerator looks like.

Now I need to buy all the foods, but I don't feel like it. I don't think pickles were an adequate supper.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Right now, I am full of zeal for reforming my slovenly refrigerator ways.

When we lost power for 4 days several years ago, we had to throw out 90% of the stuff in the fridge and freezer (we kept things like pickles, pickled ginger -- anything preserved in vinegar we figured probably was going to be okay, and as it turned out, it was). That inspired a gloriously clean and organized fridge.

Yeah, that's how we rolled when Isaac came through last year.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I still do a double take on that name.

Oops, sorry!

No apology necessary

home from date. On the whole, it went well. We both arrived at the theater within a couple minutes of each other. Got to our seat with 10-15 minutes to spare. Some fun pre-show chat. The Hunger Games was a good flick. (for the record, if you go see the movie, before taking your seat, GO TO THE BATHROOM! Sorry for the ascaps, but seriously. It's 2.5 hours long. And if you get a drink... you best empty before sitting). We both made a series of quiet quips at the screen, and had some cute laughs. After the movie, she said she made reservations for a restaurant down the street, do we want to eat? Sure! We had nice dinner talk. About 3 hours worth! All good. She's cute. Funny. Laughs at my jokes. Smart. All in all, good conversation. Not sure if it will amount to anything. There was good friendship-y type of talk. Not sure if there was any chemistry feelings. We shall see.

When I got home, the skies were on the clear side. So I grabbed the telescope, and dragged it out to the porch. Got a great view of Jupiter and 4 moons. It was great tonight. Crisp! Some some bands. No red eye storm. But hey. The 4 moons were BRIGHT!. Then spotted Uranus to the right, and zoomed in on that. It was just a bright blop of light. No details. Still cool.
