Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ah, yeah, that's what I thought. It kind of cracks me up that someone who self defines as "anti-social" would voluntarily join a community.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It kind of cracks me up that someone who self defines as "anti-social" would voluntarily join a community.

Actually that I can see. Wanting to have a community, but not wanting to have to conform to certain "rules" that seem like bullshit. But I know a lot of anti-social people who are fairly social, just idiosyncratic.

Whereas here, you have fairly social (at a remove) people many of whom are idiosyncratic.

Williams Sonoma wins today. They're not making me wait in line and they brought me a chair.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

This is all really long but if you've read that far I could use some suggestions for portable, non messy (to carry or eat), filling snacks.

*Checks drawer* Packaged peanut butter or cheese crackers, peanut butter filled pretzels, granola bars, string cheese, non-messy fruit (e.g., apples, bananas).

Congrats, Frank!

Costco carries these "Nature's Bakery" fig bars in a big box with three flavors (straight up fig, raspberry, blueberry) and they are terrific.

When I did my first gig as precinct captain last November, I took the election volunteers a box and expected grumbling over the 'healthy' alternative. They LOVED them. And so do I. They are tidy and tasty!
