Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

You could put a sheet of paper between the finished pages.

That's a good idea, Connie. And would definitely work for the vampire book...but, in some cases, the shading is so intricate, even rubbing a clean sheet of paper might distort it.

It is entirely possible, as well, that I take this stuff entirely too seriously!

Still. I do love it.

Now that I've watched a favorite tv show from the luxury of my bath tub, I'm settling in to do some coloring.

I am _lovin'_ my life right now.

I just bought a new box of crayons today! Of course, I bought them for witchy/magic purposes, because when you need wax in different colors to make seals, crayons are the way to go.

I wouldn't have thought crayons would melt as cleanly as sealing wax.

Not as cleanly, no, but they work just fine for what I need.

Plus, how else would you get some cool colors, of course.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Bonny, try wax paper. It'll foil color transfer and should keep the colorsfrom smudging. I'm so glad to hear you're happy!

Genius! I have a roll of wax paper I never use. HA!! Thank you.

Cheers on the good wish as well.

I've been doing the Shaun Achor happiness ritual for 41 days and I'm loving it. I actually look forward to that being the last thing I do each day. I am sleeping somewhat better and even though I'm facing two enormously scary financial things, I find I have the energy and calm to face them.

One thing that totally bummed me out the other day was finding out that Speck really is dead now. He apparently attacked two MORE people, so they put him down. I'm not sure why, but I just wept and wept. Somehow, knowing him and then knowing he is not in the world anymore...and that he never really had a chance...just overcame me.

Other than that, though, I'm doing well.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have coloring books! And colored pencils and crayons. I like crayons better. Avengers coloring book, you say?

Oh yes. 400 pages: [link] (Only I bought it at Target for $4.99. I have no idea why it's $35 on Amazon. Sheesh. Maybe I should re-sell it. Wait...NOPE.)

Muahahahaha. Sephora emailed me with news that one of the limited edition rewards available at my 'beauty point' level was a gift set of Theirry Mugler Angel products, AND that the foundation I'd been wanting was back in stock. Yes, send these things to me.

I've gone back to wearing Angel -APPLIED VERY LIGHTLY- after over a decade of not. I have finally accepted that every BPAL turns into some sort of vanilla amber on me, except for my two Holy Grails from them that are no longer made. Plus, I still really like Angel.

400 PAGES?!

Merciful heavens. That'll keep you busy.

Hey, did I say? I put up the chalkboard vinyl I mentioned a while back in the kitchen and I love it! It was super easy to install and, with a damp cloth, its easier to clean than expected.

Since my kitchen is accessorized in black and white, it fits right in.
