"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Amy, what everyone else said. You need to get something.

TCG is already done with his meeting! I love when they get done early.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Aimee - I hope you are able to get the doc/any doc to find a more affordable AB. It is craziness.

In "it never hurts to ask" news, my PM responded to my awkward question with "I don’t see why you couldn’t bill a car and hotel. I think that is more than fine. You do so much for the project, it is the least we can do. Not awkward." So, I'll actually be staying in the East Bay before heading up to the wedding. Wheeeeeeee.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aims, $300 for 19 generic pills?! That's ridiculous. I agree with the others, ask your pharmacist for something more reasonable.

Question for the lipstick-loving hivemind: is there any lipstick that comes in a flat case? So it would fit easily in a wallet without bulging?

Zen, look up "lipstick palettes" on Sephora or Ulta. I don't know what shades you're looking for, but check it out: [link]

Thanks, Strix. A couple of those look like flat tubes, but it's hard to tell. The palettes, I've never used, do you have to use a lip brush? I don't think that would work, being as convenience is the main thing here. I'd lose the little brush.

Most palettes have little brushes. Are you looking for something to fit in a pocket or in a tiny purse?

Tiny purse, or big wallet. That's why it needs to be flat. IME, lipsticks/lipbalms in pockets melt.

I'm sorry it's been so rough, Ginger.

Zen, I keep looking but all the palettes I see have brushes, and the small lippies are too big for a small purse. Maybe a lip pencil and tiny tube of balm/gloss?

I will keep looking!

Ginger, I'm sorry your intestines are giving you grief! I wish calmness for your gut, tout de suite.
