Sometimes a pharmacist will do the calling for you and talk with the doctor to come up with a cheaper alternative. Or could you call your regular doctor's office?
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm with Ginger. See what the pharmacist can do or maybe your doctor can work something else out.
The pharmacist should be able to change it with a couple phone calls, Aimee. It's happened to me more than once.
Jesus, is that a brand or a generic?
Generic.
Fucking hell.
Yeah, I don't think I have ever gotten brand name meds in the last 10 years I've taken anything.
$300 for 19 pills is ridiculous.
If the doctor didn't run a culture on anything you coughed up, then he/she can't know for certain that a specific antibiotic is needed. If that's the case, I'd have the pharmacist request a different one.
More than once I've been able to switch the expensive time-released drug for a much cheaper one I have to take every x hours.
Amy, what everyone else said. You need to get something.
TCG is already done with his meeting! I love when they get done early.
