No. And yes. It's always sudden.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Shir, how about books on tape?

Speaking of, I am 2/3rds done listening to Malala's book. Wow. That is some heavy stuff. Life under the Taliban, through a girls eyes, whose father runs a school. All she wants is peace, and to go to school. I'm debating giving a copy to my 13 y.o. Niece for xmas. Anyhow, I highly recommend it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Does she have enough vision that she could follow a line and use one of these? [link]

I imagine someone makes them in Hebrew.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am tired of pain and anxiety stealing all my spoons. /whine

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm spoonless myself.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{smonster&Ginger}}} I could barely find the spoons today for a fun night out. And I have laundry piled up to the ceiling at the moment.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Sending Ginger an electronic spoon. Wish that worked in real life.

Compassionately intolerant

Typo, I gave Access a pass years ago, for the reason you described, and never went back.

I'll have to do some research on database products. I just really don't have any knowledge. Plus, the time necessary to learn something new right now...not appealing.

BUT, I need something so, I guess I'll have to do whatever it takes.

Shir, I'm with smonster. I'm glad you went and hope you can see her again. I call my surrogate mom nearly every day since her open heart surgery and it has meant a lot to both of us.

I also endorse omnis' recommendation of audiobooks. There are organizations here that offer audiobook players for seniors that are slow the recording down, so they are easier for older folks to hear.

Energy ~ma for all who need it, but especially ginger and smonster.

I screwed up so badly this morning that I pretty much wasted all my spoons. I had two doggy appointments on my calendar...one a mile away up-hill, the other, three blocks from my house. I ran to the distant one when I was meant to be at the other. By the time I figured it out, I'd wasted an hour of the client's time and ended up giving them an extra hour gratis.

I really worry about my memory. Jeez.

Thrive to spite them

I'm glad I have two days off, I'm ready for it. It's been kind of a roller coaster at work.

So far I've discovered that the New Girl has managed to piss off/insult several people and reject their help. Well, when she wants help she wants you to drop everything and help her and then go away. She'll even say "go away" or "shoo" and flap her hands.

And then I had the interview for the full time positions, one for cashier and one for the phone position.

I got the phone position. I was the only candidate, but from what I could suss out only me and this guy J applied for the cashier position. I assumed that if he applied for it then that's what they'd do. I get a raise effective tomorrow. My schedule is set for the next 2 weeks so I'll officially have my new hours then. But I finally get coded and get access to stuff I need to do the phone job better.

But benefits including 5% matching on 401K and stock option stuff. I'll get a packet and some info.

And I'm able to watch FSU Stomp all over Clemson. Good day today

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That's good news, askye! Glad you'll get away from the New Girl.
