You're not gonna jokey-rhyme your way out of this one.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Damn it, Glam. Are they looking for a unicorn?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

smonster, what about a bat diviner: telling the future from the flight patterns of bats?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Hi, all. It's been a while (about three weeks, IIRC), and I skipped and skimmed, so first, ~mas and brackets wherever they might be needed.

I just wanted to stop by and thank for your advice about visiting my surrogate grandmother. My mom and I went to see her two weeks ago. Her daughter said that it was the first time in months she said yes to any visitors. She was a bit depressed and down, but my mom and her daughter who have seen her in worse conditions said how great she looks and responds. One of the things that's hard for her is that she can't read anymore (her eyesight isn't what it used to be). They tried e-readers where you can change the size of letters, and reading to her, but she's not into any of this. I wish there was something to do about it. Anyhow, I'll try to visit her again on Tuesday when I'll come to Jerusalem to vote in the municipal elections, if it'll be convenient for her. I was worried about seeing her down, but just sitting next to her and talk with her was enough. I truly love and appreciate this woman and all she did for me.

ION, the new semester started here, and I'm trying to take things easy. That's about it. And it's a beautiful lazy Saturday afternoon, so yay for this too.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Strix, that's a good idea. Still pondering. I was thinking about sort of conducting the bats into cloud shapes representing dreams.

Shir, I'm so glad you went. Will you have another chance to go see her?

It was pouring when I got up this morning, so I figured work would be cancelled. I started planning a day of crafting with Buffy and such on in the back ground. But now it's clearing up, phooey. Don't wanna.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

For those who took clomid, is there any reason why I can't have a drink at dinner tonight? I absolutely know I'm not pregnant, so that isn't a concern.

Shir, I'm glad you went to see her. ~ma all around.

Smonster good luck with your costume. I can't wait to see pictures.

Glamcookie, I'm so sorry about the job. It is definitely their loss.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Shir, how about books on tape?

Speaking of, I am 2/3rds done listening to Malala's book. Wow. That is some heavy stuff. Life under the Taliban, through a girls eyes, whose father runs a school. All she wants is peace, and to go to school. I'm debating giving a copy to my 13 y.o. Niece for xmas. Anyhow, I highly recommend it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Does she have enough vision that she could follow a line and use one of these? [link]

I imagine someone makes them in Hebrew.

I'm spoonless myself.

{{{smonster&Ginger}}} I could barely find the spoons today for a fun night out. And I have laundry piled up to the ceiling at the moment.
