NSB?Not So Bad.. slightly different than NBD, no big deal.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Seriously, failing to try to help a patient is doing something. And it's doing the shitty thing. The wrong thing. The really un-Hippocratic Oath thing.
I trust medical advice over the random internets. And my experiences over medical advice that doesn't really know me and fails to listen to my own actual experiences in my body.
But if they recommend a vaccination? I am getting the vaccination. We can quibble details later but I know I am not smarter than viral swarm intelligence.
I can see questioning a vaccination when pregnant -- there are lots of things that aren't safe when pregnant.
Of course, by "questioning a vaccination" I mean "talk to some other medical professionals" not "throw it open to a vote on my Facebook page."
Right. Of course. Not least because I have people on my page who would think my Coke habit is as serious as, well, a coke habit.
I wouldn't open up a question like that on facebook, but I'd probably ask it here, which is completely different to me.
Oh, heck yeah. If a quick look at Webmd and Mayo got me no reassurances that my doctor was advising me correctly, I would bring it to the Hivemind. But sadly, not everyone has a reliable Hivemind like we do here.

WS, I agree completely, and I feel bad for them. Which is why I said I wouldn't post it on facebook.
Speaking of medical stuff, my fertility drugs came in the mail yesterday wit their very own sharps hazardous waste container. Which makes sense, but it still more than a little disconcerting.
That's big thing, sj. Lots of ~ma for you.
On the trusting the doctor front, I was referring specifically to my OB, who I trusted completely. If she told me I should do it, I did it. I asked questions, of course, but I always followed her advice and recommendations.
{{{sj}}} The fertility stuff seems crazy and scary at first, but it's wild how quickly you adjust to it. I used to hate shots/needles but after going through all the fertility stuff I did? NBD at all to me now. If you have to do the progesterone in oil shots, I found it helpful to ice the area before the shot, and apply heat and massage after. Oh and hold the syringe like a dart - I remember DW having to do that and it made it easier. Sorry if it's TMI. Wishing you success, friend! I'm here if you have any questions I might be able to answer.

Thanks. Not TMI, and I really appreciate the advice. The shot is Ovidrel. And I'm much less worried about the needle then TCG is.
