{{{sj}}} The fertility stuff seems crazy and scary at first, but it's wild how quickly you adjust to it. I used to hate shots/needles but after going through all the fertility stuff I did? NBD at all to me now. If you have to do the progesterone in oil shots, I found it helpful to ice the area before the shot, and apply heat and massage after. Oh and hold the syringe like a dart - I remember DW having to do that and it made it easier. Sorry if it's TMI. Wishing you success, friend! I'm here if you have any questions I might be able to answer.

Thanks. Not TMI, and I really appreciate the advice. The shot is Ovidrel. And I'm much less worried about the needle then TCG is.

Ah, the old belly shot. I found those to be pretty painless. It seemed crazy to do a shot in the belly, but I seriously barely felt it.

And I'm much less worried about the needle then TCG is.

THIS! DW was way more nervous about it than I was. She ended up being a pro by the time we were done.

Trying to think of a golf hole-in-one joke that would be appropriate... not coming to me.

So, I'm observing an interesting phenomena in myself. How recieving 31 emails within 8 minutes is causing me to freak out a bit. Strange. And yes, by doing this, it is helping me calm down. You'd think I'd be used to tons of emails at this job. But 31 in less than 10 minutes?!? Oy. Yeah. Kinda crazy.

I know different shots are different, but the diabetic friend I grew up with always preferred those days when her shot rotation got to her belly.

Those over-the-counter decongestants? Far far worse than the behind-the-counter stuff. At least for me. I feel like my body is about to jitter itself apart, and yet my heart rate seems normal. My mouth is dry, there is a terrible taste/smell in my (clear) nostrils and throat, and I am nervous as hell. On the upside, I can breathe. I threw the whole box of the damn red pills away. I can't believe I used to take this stuff all the time when I lived with my sister. Maybe this partially explains why I was so miserable then. This feels a lot like an anxiety attack. Also, it's 3am and there's no way I'm getting to sleep for another couple hours. I'd call out sick to work, except I've got too much work to do.
