I just noticed that on the back of my valium prescription info sheet is a recipe for shrimp scampi pizza. Seriously, That made me laugh.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Is it entitled "Plan B"?
So I had my monthly 1 on 1 meeting at work, I met my goals. Now I have new goals.
My supervisor asked how the training was going iwth the new girl and I said I think we had a bit of a personality conflict (which surprised her) and I talked about some struggles I had. I got some advice.
The main thing is she's eager and she's not listening to what customers are saying. Also I should have been letting her ring up on my numbers and shadowing her. But she has her own numbers now and today I'll be shadowing her.
I'm not doing such a hot job training, but I'll be better today.
And I'm being asked to apply to 2 full time positions. I had some waffling over whether I should go back to work full time at all, but I've been working around 30 hours a week and full time at this store is a minimum of 33 hours. And I've looked at the schedule for the full time people in the positions (it's full time what I do nnow and another job I'm cross training for) and they get just around the minimum hours. Which is fine.
The only thing I didn't think about is health insurance and if my new therapist will take the health insurance they offer, so I'm going to talk to my supervisor about it.
It would mean a little bit of a raise and leave time. So I'm at least applying for the jobs so I can keep my options open.
Raise and leave time are a very good thing.
That all sounds really good, askye.
askye, it doesn't sound like many more hours, but you need to do what is right for you. Best of luck making a decision.
I am at the beach. Mom and Stepdad have safely arrived in Rome, but apparently ran into some huge protest in the area of the Spanish Steps.
Tep, enjoy your par-tay tonight. Drink some wine for the rest of us.
I made reservations at Blue Ginger for our 3rd anniversary next month!
Don't you love the calls that start with "Mom, I wasn't involved and I'm fine...". The search and rescue team had training today and they were caravaning back. One car was following another too close. The front car stopped short, the car behind swerved and hit a light pole. All passengers were transported to hospitals, but word is that the worst is a broken leg...I hope that holds true.
CJ was about 2 cars further back, driving alone. He said he pulled over and ran to help. He still sounds so shaken up. Everyone is hanging at HQ waiting for word from the Chief, who went to the hospital to check on the injured folks. CJ wouldn't tell me who was hurt.

That's a good way to start it, though! He's keeping himself out of the danger zone so you don't have a mama bear flipout--just the concerned adult for friends which involves less of a transformation into a befanged beast of revenge and anger.
They must feel awful--the rescuers having to rescue themselves, and over a small thing like not maintaining proper distance. I wonder if they're getting mortality shakes on top of everything. Poor kids and the adults involved.
Restoring the computer is...interesting and might just take the rest of my goddamn life. But it's the best choice.
