[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hil. Can you get someone to go to your office and pick them up and bring them to you? Maybe a clerical worker who is willing to do you a favor over and above her regular job to save you PAIN?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I already went to campus and came back. There probably wouldn't have been anyone who could do that, anyway.

Our wings are not tired

So far I'm enjoying the class I'm teaching at UCLA. The commute sucks but there's nothing I can do about it. I have a 4 hour class block that starts at 9 AM. The first class I left Pasadena at 7:05 and walked into my class at 8:59. Today I left at 6:50 and got here at 8:40, which is better, but still cutting it a little too close for me. Next week I'll try leaving at 6:40. My guess is if I do that I'll be here by 8 AM which is way too early but better than being late.

The four hour block is a bit draining, but since a large part of my class is project based it will be good for the students to have group time.

I'm also advising on a student design, which is good, the only downside is that production meetings are at 4 PM on Tuesdays, so I end up with 3 hours to kill. At least I have my laptop and can get some office work done.

Bohama--a little Bohemian, a little Bahamian.

Becherovka with a little umbrella?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I thought of posting this in literary but its literary value is, at best, negligable, so I've come over to Bitches, which seems appropriate. Seems there's a new genre around - dinosaur erotica.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I came across that earlier this week. Falls comfortably in the category of what has been seen cannot be unseen.

So far, thankfully, I haven't seen anyone in the Dino 101 course mention it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Do some of your prep in that time? Yeah, leave ten minutes different and the end result can easily be an hour at the end. But I am glad to hear the class is going well!

This is good to hear. I hope you have a good bunch of students.

I'm taking a stand; dinosaur erotica is wrong.

There's a place in the special hell for people who tell you after you've spent a lot on something that you could have done it cheaper.

They might have their own circle. But it's marked down.
