'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Man, you never can tell with the AMA. They're freaks.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I would watch the HELL out of it.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Frak. Latest family drama: my dad's new wife has a number of children, one of whom has mental health (and drug addiction) issues. My older brother ran into him at the pub where said older brother is staying. My stepbrother started threatening some fifty-year old, my brother intervened, and my stepbrother pushed him down a flight of stairs (onto concrete). My brother has a broken arm, and is lucky it wasn't much worse. They need to insert a metal plate, but it won't happen until Sunday. Meanwhile he's at home with a broken arm and a course of Panadeine Forte. He'll be unable to work for a number of weeks.

My dad talked to my brother's on/off girlfriend once, made excuses for my stepbrother, and hasn't been to visit.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Jebus. You dad didn't used to be a wackaloon. I'm sorry he's gone this route and embroiled you all in such crap.

Our wings are not tired.

Damn, billytea. A rotten situation turned worse. I'm sorry.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

My God, bt. I'm so sorry to hear all of this. And I guess this specific family drama will create even more family drama "fun" in the future, so my ~mas and thoughts are with you and your family.

In other, petty, news: I have no idea why I thought cleaning my room and re-arranging the small library (the extension to my library) will only take about 80 minutes. It took me over an hour just to sort through and clean the mini-library, because I put away "temporarily" so much junk and paperwork on it.

Yeah. He also used to be married to my mother, who, as my youngest brother put it, knew how to compensate for his blind spots.

My older brother's caused more than his share of trouble, but he doesn't deserve this latest strife.

While I think it would be counterproductive overall, there is some small part of me that thinks it would be hilarious if my brother sued my dad's wife over this.

Anyway. Thanks to the family circles, my brother is at least getting some competent legal advice. I doubt there's much to be done (beyond my stepbrother being banned from the pub in question - his sister works there, by the by), but there's a police report and my brother is talking to the right people.
