It is just so discouraging. We poured a bunch of cash into fixing up the thing to sell it to raise cash to finish the house to sell it. And now we are out all the money and effort and time, and are further behind.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, God, Laura, I've been there, in that place where every chance you take to try to get just a little ahead twists around and puts you further back than before, and it just chews you up. Awesome people like you and your DH deserve so much better.
How thoroughly demoralizing, Laura. I wish things would get better soon for you.
Oh, Laura, what a disappointment. I'm so sorry!
Ugh Laura, I'm sorry.
Ok, in some sort of minor miracle the couple is still interested in the boat. The A/C failed, the generator failed, and the port engine failed, but they are still interested if it can be fixed quickly. Like maybe the electrical got loose with pulling it out and back into the water on the fork lift or something. The couple flew down with the intention of taking the thing up the intracoastal and navigating all the way to Rhode Island! DH is on his way to the marina to see if he and the mechanic can get it right, quickly. Oh please, please, please.
Oh, man, fingers triple crossed, Laura.
Yeah Laura! I was thinking that it might be more fixable that now appears. Let's hope.
Everything crossed for you, Laura!
Laura, keeping all my fingers crossed for you. Come on RIers, give my home state a good name.
First world problem: At the last minute I decided to go to my cousin's wedding. It's in less than two weeks, and I have nothing to wear!
