Oh no, Pix! Shit.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah. The loan officer was really nice and said that it's a good, profitable business with regular cash flow, but since we don't have any collateral to speak of, the underwriters nixed it. He said the CU's underwriters are vey conservative and is going to give ND the names of other local SBA providers who he thinks might fund us. But it means starting over again and hoping we have kept things tight enough these last few weeks to get through six weeks of our biggest payrolls of the year since I doubt anything could happen fast enough to help when we need it.
I'm disheartened but trying to stay positive.
Oh, what the HELL. Fingers crossed the other SBA providers are less conservative.
What Tep said.
Thanks, all. On the positive side, at least this rejection took nine days instead of nine months.
I'm sorry, Pix. How disappointing. I hope one of the other lenders can come through quickly.
Oh, Pix. That truly sucks. I'm sorry.
Dammit, Pix. Such a pisser. I hope one of the others comes through for you, and soon. I am glad that there was no delay and they they offered you other resources. I have heard that local banks are the best bets for a small business, rather than credit unions or big banks. Maybe on Clark Howard? Can't remember where I heard it.
bonny, you are one of the saintliest people I know. And not in a fakey saccharine way. In a serious do good works kind of way.
So it will coordinate with the flooring?
Very nearly a spit take.
Hugs and... yummy bread to go with your soups, all those with pests and pestilent coworkers. Gluten free as needed, of course. I can't eat soup without bread.
Fleas - down here it's Advantage Plus for the kitties and Trifexis for Frankie. Other stuff doesn't work any more. And even those only work for about 3 weeks at a time.
Damn, Pix. That sucks a lot. Hopefully the other lenders will see the light and lighten your load.
Aw Pix. How disheartening. Truly. So much sympathy for this massive frustration.
It was good of the CU to take less time, but seriously. A business that is pre-booked for multiple years of work? How is that not a trustworthy venture?
I have to second what smonster said about local banks. Here on the Hill, we have two that are known for funding local businesses with a vengeance.
I hope you will keep trying.
smonster, you are the sweetest. Full stop.
It turns out that one of the kitties is really ill. The volume and placement of what happened between 10am this morning and 8pm tonight suggests a vet visit is necessary.
But. I don't know which kitty it is. I don't have a car and I don't have authorization to get them treatment.
I left a message for the owners, but frankly have no idea why they are not home yet.
I'm totally stressing out that one of those critters is suffering and I can't do anything. I'll keep going until I hear otherwise but oy. It's a mess.
