Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm a little emotionally overwhelmed right now. Nothing bad really, just life. I'm reading and sympathizing and sending vibes, but I'm not up to engaging much. I love it that Buffistas are there and I can feel like I have good people around even when I can't stand having people around, you know?

Right there with you.

Living on the water and having fruit trees around generally means rats. I really should get another cat. I haven't seen any, or traces of any, but I know they are around...

eta: oh my, I had an error of the fatal type when I posted that

My ladybits ache, but considering how long it's been since my last pelvic, it's a good thing. Next on the Checklist of Middle-Aged Adulthood: making the appointment for the colonoscopy. After that, actually keeping said appointment.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, y'all.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I like those, Tep, woodgrain and all.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

making the appointment for the colonoscopy
Ha. Funny you should mention. Been having issues lately, myself. Went to doc, and determined the hemorrhoids were clearly the cause, and due to my being young (really? 41 is young? Whopee), no need for colonoscopy at this time. Big relief. Also, procedure to remove is easy, and in-office. No surgery. Yippee. Not looking forward to having it done. Something tells me, I won't be sharing all the details of my stay-cation with my co-workers. That being said, yesterdays doctor visit, while not the most comfortable of exams, did relief some anxiety.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Those are SO CUTE, Steph. Also with you on the hating that feeling of sliding to the front of the shoe on every step. I'll be waiting to hear back on the comfort level - I'm in the same boat as you with the not-being-able-to-deal-with-high-heels anymore, and I love maryjanes to an unholy degree.

Part of why I love Mary Janes is that the strap holds the shoe on my foot. Lots of pumps don't fit my foot very well (hello, my width is a 2E when I can find it), so they'll go flap flap flap off my heel when I walk. But the Mary Jane strap keeps it more snug.

And they're cute as hell.
