OK, we watched "Dark side of the rainbow", which is Pink Floyd Dark Side of Moon played over Wizard of Oz movie. Supposed to be some mide blowing syncronicity action going on. Not really. A couple interesting coincidence in the opening Kansas scens. And side A is same length as opening Kansas scene. After that... I guess it would help if you are baked. Which we weren't. Did learn I really haven't watched Oz in a long time, and don't remember great big sections of it.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
wow. I killed the thread. Sorry about that.
It's Sunday. Sunday kills the thread.
damn those blue laws.
It's amazing the difference 20 degrees makes. When NC had its usual 90+ weather I spent my weekends doing Jack with a side of shit. This weekend it was in the 70s and I set up my new laptop, walked to the farmers market, went grocery shopping at a regular store, made pot roast and salad and had a neighbor over for Sunday dinner, did dishes, vacuumed, took out the trash and the compostables, started laundry, and made next week's lunches. And now I'm gonna go clean the tub. Autumnal weather is the bomb!
and here we are having high summer . 95+ and hummidity ( not east coast humity , but high for this area)
so our day was a summer one - breakfast , a little house stuff . got on our bikes for the long mile trek down town for the concert - then early dinner ( brunch all day on sunday ) with a pitcher of margo - ritas ( maragritas made with agave soju) and a ride home .
....slow ride home :-) to catch as much of the breeze as possible.
Huh. Drinking a half gallon of orange juice has not assuaged my orange juice craving.
Calli, that's why I don't think I could move back to DC. I don't deal well with heat and humidity in combination, and the PNW is so much nicer on that front (yes, 9 months of gray is a different story, but...)
Half a gallon of OJ? That's a LOT! Maybe have an orange?
I did a bunch today too, sorta--went running this morning, then met up with friends at a lake about 45 minutes away for swimming and hanging out a few hours, then drove up to a different part of town for some dancing, then home for a skype chat with a girl. Now I SHOULD be packing for my trip tomorrow, but I think I'll wait until the last moment, in the morning. Also, I have the hiccups. GRR.

IKR? But eating a proper orange won't happen as we have strawberries and blueberries in season here so that is what is in the house. Lots of strawberries and blueberries, which need to be used up, and are perfectly yummy and totally not what I am craving.
