She made $24!! Hard to resist a wee, cute girl in a sundress and purple sequined boots asking if you'd like some coffee and a doughnut. "We have chocolate, glazed, and powdered. Or maybe you'd like a cookie? We also have Vanilla creamer!"

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh Jilli! I am so sorry manager is being a buttface. That ain't cool. I hope the next 30 days turn her around in realizing your awesomeness!
That sounds really stressful, Jilli. I hope you can move on to something better soon. Because I can't imagine that would be a comfortable working environment no matter what happens in 30 days.
I got put on a PIP at my current job about 18 years ago by our psycho supervisor. I made it through my time and she was fired no long after that. Sucked mightily though.
Jilli, for goodness sake. Can you do a msbelle and work elsewhere in the co.?
I wish I could work elsewhere in the co., especially since I know some of the behind-the-scenes gossip about what other people think of my boss. But writers and editors are her org, and that's not going to change unless something drastic happens. I can't really go to HR, because our business unit's HR rep was at the meeting this morning.

I'm going to contest the PIP, but I'm going to plan as if that won't make a difference.
(Parts of this post may self-destruct soon, because I'm paranoid.)
Have no real advice, but hang in, Lady of The Manners.
Jilli, I'm sorry you are dealing with this. Best of luck to you.
I'm sorry to hear about the bad manager and stressful news, Jilli.
Teppy, I missed your Beep Me post earlier--so sorry! Lots of job-ma for you.
No word on CU, which means we won't hear until next week. Also found out today that kitty Seamus has diabetes and needs insulin shots. Five months' worth are going to cost $350. Hoping the pet insurance will cover some of this. Sigh. Poor Boo.
Jilli may your untrustworthy boss soon know the loss of your grace and talent due to your departure to a job where you will be much better appreciated.
