Jilli may your untrustworthy boss soon know the loss of your grace and talent due to your departure to a job where you will be much better appreciated.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Lots of kitty~ma for Seamus.
No word on CU, which means we won't hear until next week.
I'm sorry. That is evil of them.
Much kitty~ma to Seamus.
Oh no, can't be angry at the CU for needing to take a few days to evaluate a business line of credit, especially after waiting nine months only to be rejected by BoA for something already paid off. Definitely not evil. I just want to know, of course.
Sorry, Pix. I didn't even realize that CU stood for credit union. I thought BoA was still jerking you around but with a different loan. I'm obviously not very with it today.
No worries! We are officially done with BoA since they finally rejected us after all those months of jerking us around. As soon as we hear if we get approved for the business stuff, we will move to the CU. If we don't get the credit line, we won't be able to move our money there until after Halloween.
Best of luck!
Also if we don't get the credit line, I'm not sure how we are going to make it through the next month. But that's another worry. One worry at a time.
It just dawned on me: my manager is the tech industry version of Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter books.
Hey everybody.
Today sort of oozed by, with lots of pain and zero energy. Nothing of note happened but I was able to remove the bandages and air out the wounds. Thankfully, clotting seems to be taking place.
Now, I'm trying to figure out how to wash my hair without getting my hands wet.
Tylenol PM helped me sleep pretty well, but I sort of felt dopey all day.
The former friend sent me an email inquiring about the wounds and telling me that she has pet the dog while he eats and he has shown no aggression.
Um. Not related. Good luck with that.
I did get the chance to tell her next door neighbor (with whom she shares a yard) to be careful with his 3 year old.
He started along _her_ line, inquiring about what I did wrong. I got pretty heated but didn't lose my head. They weren't there, so I can't be offended by their desire to feel safer.
I honestly don't think the dog is bad. I do think he ought to be a farm dog or something.
The friend has offered to pay half the bill but I have to wait. I'm not going to sue her, but she's lost me forever.
Anyhoo. Thank you all so much for being with me in this.
Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day!
Pix & ND, fingers crossed for the right outcome with the CU.
Good luck with yard sale part deux, Aimee.
Restful weekend to everyone!
