So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

X-posting from facebook - does this sound like a decent health insurance option?

Right now the top option is BCBS Blue Saver. Deductible is $2800, premium about $215, 100% preventive coverage, Rx coverage with no separate deductible, etc. 80%/20% after deductible in network, 60%/40% for out of network.

If you can handle the deductible, the rest of it seems like a good deal to me.

ETA: Assuming the network is good.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It doesn't look like it automatically disqualifies you. I think it has to be for something pretty egregious, but I think it also varies by state. Here's the WA page - [link]

How much is the out of pocket max? 20-40% could add up quickly.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Jilli, I think it depends on how they phrase your release papers, and your local laws.

Still waiting on the CU. It's going up the chain and so far it looks hopeful.
That's like 4 steps better the BoA, and it only took one week! Progress!

$5K

By contrast my COBRA has: deductible of $750, premium of $340, $3K out of pocket max, 100% preventive, also 80/20. And it covers mental health with no copay. WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T I BEEN SEEING A THERAPIST DAMN.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The sale today was AWESOME!! We did just under $200. We have tomorrow to go and I'll probably be purging some stuff tonight to add to the leftovers from today.

I decided that we would take our break from our fast food moratorium and had Joe pickup Wendy's on his way home. These are the BEST FRIES EVER. EVER IN THE WHOLE WORLD OF FRIES.

She made $24!! Hard to resist a wee, cute girl in a sundress and purple sequined boots asking if you'd like some coffee and a doughnut. "We have chocolate, glazed, and powdered. Or maybe you'd like a cookie? We also have Vanilla creamer!"

Oh Jilli! I am so sorry manager is being a buttface. That ain't cool. I hope the next 30 days turn her around in realizing your awesomeness!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That sounds really stressful, Jilli. I hope you can move on to something better soon. Because I can't imagine that would be a comfortable working environment no matter what happens in 30 days.
