I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

You would think, before experiencing it, that pain, even great pain, in a small part of your body would average out to small pain overall. But it doesn't. It's big-ass pain.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're home. We had a good weekend. Although, ltc was terrified of going to sleep in her pack and play in a room that was not her own. So were never able to go to a movie.

Oh, I know I just meant we weren't able to go all weekend. I really wanted to see Get Out. Maybe I'll see if my inlaws are available to babysit here this weekend.

Mom's going through a big box of pictures without her glasses and she keeps tossing stuff to throw away "I have no idea who those kids are".. I look-- "Mom that's me and bro.." "oh I guess we'll keep that."

She also has several pictures of her in a polka dot dress (she says it's blue) that has a full skirt with a crinoline under it (I assume). I keep lookign at it and thinking how much Steph and JZ would like it

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

While visiting the Oakland office, I'm hanging out in a hard wall office. But these walls are thin and the person in the office next to this one has been on personal calls ALL DAY. I know about her struggles filling certain prescriptions and now I know all about how so and so said she took too much macaroni and cheese when she only took the scrapings. O. M. G. SHUT UP!!!!

Once again, this is why I work from home. If you MUST air this stuff during the day, do it by text, online, or GO OUTSIDE.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, I found out why Bubble and Squeak is called that. When I got home at 10:30 from work (why am I working law firm hours again?), I didn't really feel like cooking. I had some leftover corned beef hash, but it needed a little bulking up. I had some frozen brussel sprouts, so I defrosted them, chopped them up with some potato and threw it into a skillet (with some bacon fat). I put a lid on it and went to change my clothes. When I wandered back into the kitchen, I was startled to see hear the pan making a weird noise. Kind of popping and, well, squeaking. And the light bulb went on!

It was good, too. I might try making it on purpose next time.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

(we all know she did NOT take only the scrapings of the mac and cheese. c'mon.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've got an appointment with a hand surgeon in a couple weeks, since my thumb is getting worse again. I could have gotten an earlier appointment with a different doctor, but this one is supposed to be really good, and I don't really want to mess around when it comes to stuff that could screw up my hand. If it were a six month wait, I might feel differently, but for a couple weeks, I'll wait for the doctor who's supposed to be the best.
