Congratulations, Epic!

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
So ... minor, but still gratifying.
Seriously, we have to savor these moments as being too few and far between.
Thank you everyone. Objectively I can see that I'm successful, but at the end of the day I still see the guy with a couple of theater degrees responsible for a lot of peoples lives, and interacting with a a lot of very business minded people. I spend more time behind a spreadsheet that I do behind sound equipment lately and it's easy for that to overwhelm me.
ND, you've made a success of a business - expanded, hiring people to work for you, from what I've seen managing it well and humanely for those people. You're no imposter.
That's great, Epic!
So not an imposter. Any of you.
I can't even get my Purchasing department to tell me that more than half of the 269 vehicles scheduled to be delivered in April have been pushed back to May by the manufacturer. I had to find out from the client who was told by the dealer. It has been a shitstorm since about 5 pm yesterday. My VP is livid that we and customer service were not informed of this major issue.
Epic, they is wonderful! Go you!
Maria, that sucks.
ltc napped for nearly 3 hours today! We're both cranky and tired today.
Maria, we have a new communications person who sends out news releases, but only lets one other person know - he puts the text up on a secondary website we have. As a result, when someone calls or emails about the content, they get a big "huh?" ... which makes us look SO good. And nothing will persuade her that sharing the info with staff just might be a good idea.
Epic, Zen, and Toddson, validation is pretty damn amazing. Pay boost is amazing-er. You've all earned it. Some of the rest of us have, too, just have to do our own back-patting, or ask for it here.
Friday afternoon imposter syndrome meeting - I just got invited to a Project Controls Summit along with about 12 other people. I am one of the two lowest level people to get invited. My BOSS isn't even invited. Ummmmmmm. I have two weeks before the two day meeting to stress over this. Fun.
