Well, fuck. Kelly's bf was laid off this afternoon. Fucking Comcast. He has already had a couple of interviews at IT temp agencies and has a follow-up one scheduled for Monday. But dang it - they are trying to move out and this is just going to make it all that much harder. And it is so stupid too - he was encouraged to apply for higher level positions just a month ago, he has great feedback from customers. But someone overheard him, on his break, away from his desk and such, say something about maybe looking for a different job and they ratted him out. Such bullshit. Should he have been more careful about what he said/where? Sure. But for someone to go tattle? Pathetic.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
She seems to have no internet presence under...
The synchronicity is strong today. You might almost be talking about me.... except that my landline is still under my maiden name.
That's how my friend from my first high school found me lately. Apparently I gave her quite a chase.
So great to find out someone was thinking about me. I had thought everyone had forgotten me when we moved to California. But it was still totally enjoyable to yak it up with her and I am very glad it happened.
Feels really really weird in a way I cannot put my finger on.
Hi Java! I will send you my new e mail. The land line still works!!!
Send me your new email too, Katie. My profile addy works. Thanks!
Ugh. I'm having a bad combination of imposter syndrome and just plain being overwhelmed.
No one less like an imposter I know, ND. I know it doesn't help when you're swamped with the feelings, but you *know* better. I hope you soon feel better, too.
Imposter syndrome often goes hand in hand with actually grasping the complexities and breadth of the tasks in progress. What is a zillion times worse is people who think they got it, when they really are clueless! I get the overwhelmed. Take a breath, or twelve.
I was hoping TCG would have a snow day today, but the snow hadn't started yet when he left for work.
ND, it's obvious you're very good at your job. Not an imposter.
Boo hiss at imposter syndrome.
What Beverly and Laura said. Also, shit, if YOU have imposter syndrome,…
What they said, ND! Don't listen to the mean voices.
I'm at a business conference. It's boring, except for the part where people wanted me to do a thing I don't have the authority to do. I told my manager I'm doing it anyway, because it's common sense, and he caved immediately and yeah okay you're right do that. Man, that should happen more often.
