I've been in that situation before with more than one woke dude, and it definitely goes way deeper than simple immaturity. There's a performative aspect to it, where it's not about actually being woke so much as it's about making sure everyone around them knows just how enlightened they actually are.

So... At a meeting for house coordinators, bosslady asked me to show everybody my bullet journal, because other people are forgetting things and losing track of things and I am so on top of stuff. I was happy to share. That bullet journal really does help me a lot. Thank you, Hil, and other bullet journaling Buffistas for pointing the way.
Later in the day, I was 25 minutes late for a training session via Skype because I spaced out about it.
