I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This article seems sadly relevant.

Since woke misogyny can come with a hefty dose of gaslighting, it's difficult to tell whether it's calculated or not.

move out and draw fire

That could have been any one of the tweets about P-C that I've seen.

Right? It's now become a tripwire for me.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So... At a meeting for house coordinators, bosslady asked me to show everybody my bullet journal, because other people are forgetting things and losing track of things and I am so on top of stuff. I was happy to share. That bullet journal really does help me a lot. Thank you, Hil, and other bullet journaling Buffistas for pointing the way.

Later in the day, I was 25 minutes late for a training session via Skype because I spaced out about it.

Yup.

Yup indeed.

I've been using my bullet journal since February. I'm not sure if it's making me more organized, but it is helping me track where my reach is exceeding my grasp. I've been putting in aspirational "to-do"s and hitting about 1 in 3, and that's helping me see what I'm choosing as a priority, as opposed to what I think I want to do. It let me track when I was sick and realize that, no, it didn't just feel like it had been going on forever, I really had been sick for four weeks, and I probably needed to see someone about that. And it's satisfying to check things off. So I'll probably keep on with it for at least a while longer.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Trying to prepare myself to go to the library, and for the fact that Roberta will no longer be there. This sucks.

The main gain from bullet Journaling for email is that I don't lose track of my billable hours. Writing the down works but apps dont.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry, sj. I hope going to the library will bring happy memories.

Herding cats for fun

Hi gang. I've been away forever, pretending Ginger and ita were still available by board.

It made me very sad when I saw my last post about how much I miss Ginger.

But -

I have important bookstore related news relevant to the Buffistas... especially since Renee is hoping to have more author-oriented events at her new store.

Love and Kisses to all.

Hi, KB!

The library store was actually closed today in honor of Roberta. I saw a couple people I knew there and only burst into tears once. The funeral is Monday, and thankfully TCG was able to get the day off.
