You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

~ma to Biyi's mom, and for Aims.

I just need a collections department. One is making me very grumpy -- the obnoxious Shakespeare job that I busted my ass on still owes me for the last week, and they're not returning my phone calls or emails.

The one making me slightly less grumpy is that my roommate now owes me two months rent -- over $1,400. I told him I would be very understanding, and I'm trying to be (he needed to move in right away, as he'd been couch surfing), but it's starting to push past my boundaries of tolerance, as I am running out of cash, and I still have bill collectors breathing down my neck. And he's been working a ton this last month and change, so I'm not really sure where all his money is going.

Right now, I could probably live for a couple of months on what people owe me and are not paying.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think $1400 is where my understanding would break down. Of course, you do have to live with him.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yeah, no shit. Yikes.

Well, one month's rent is $715, so it adds up quick. But yeah, I'm looking at about two grand on the books that isn't in the bank.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Sean, it's time for a roommie meeting. At least pay SOME of it.

Can I get some Travel~ma for a friend. She was a co-worker here at the university. Her father is getting to the point where she feels that she needs to be with him, and is in process of moving from California, back to Virginia. She has an old Rav4 (or something like it, I forget what model car). She purchased a dumpy "trailer". Something that was the bed of an old Chevy pick up truck. She got it for a song, on the cheap. And like most things cheap, you end up paying for it down the road. Before she left, she learned it's bolts had been sheared off, and the bed was sliding around the frame, rubbing on the tires as it made turns. She got that fixed, before leaving, thankfully. She's made it to New Mexico, and the fan belt popped on her little 4 cylinder car. And it sounds like her GI tract isn't liking road food. She's not had a good 24 hours. Please send good thoughts her way. K. Thanks.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending health vibes to those who need it, Biyi, Aimee, and Steph's dad too.
