Despite my love of technology, I didn't get my first smartphone until 2 or 3 years ago. I do love the GPS in it. That's super useful.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I pay about $25 per quarter for my pay-as-you-go phone (I don't call a lot of people). I don't want another monthly bill.
Congratulations, Suzi!
Epic, ~ma for your mom and for you getting through it with her.
I have used my day off to do basically nothing, so far. How come I can't get motivated to do anything much until about 7pm? Doesn't matter how much sleep I get or when I get up. I'm running on autoplay most of the daylight hours, and wide awake and ready to jam when the sun goes down... as long as I get an afternoon nap. idek
As Steph says, the GPS is endlessly useful. Both for directions to unfamiliar places and planning the best route around traffic and whatnot.
I also use Google a lot more than I thought I would. That thing where you used to go, "I'm not sure, but I think..." or, "I'll look that up as soon as I get home...", now I just pull the phone out of my pocket.
How come I can't get motivated to do anything much until about 7pm?
When you find out, please share. I have this same affliction/habit.
Foot~ma for your mother, Epic, and cope~ma for you.
Man, therapy rips me open every week. I want to know when it's going to stitch me back together.
I'm glad I'm doing this, it's definitely helping, but jeez. Heavy Chevy.
On the less-heavy side, the weather here is gorgeous -- it's supposed to be close to 70 before the day is over, and sunny. Tomorrow starts a run of 30something- and 40something-degree days that are going to be rainy/snowy, so I really need to go take a walk. (The downside to the weather is that its rapid changing has given me a migraine that doesn't want to budge even in the face of drugs. So a walk isn't super appealing. But the weather is SO nice, and it's going to be crappy starting tomorrow. So I'll probably drag my aching head outside, but meh.)
It's going to be in the 60s this weekend. It may be time to sit on my balcony and bask. After I wash the winter's worth of gunk off my balcony chair.
It's pretty here. But according to Weather.com we are supposed to have snow Sunday morning.
