Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yay Smarty Pants Suzi!
I had a Blackberry until it died, then an iPhone 4. I kept that for many years until family, friends, and the ancient OS forced me to upgrade to a 6s. I am not crazy about the larger size, but unlocking with my finger print is cool. The phone is a necessary evil for me. Now that this one is so big I might try and play a game or something to see if I have warmer feelings for it. (dedicated phone hater)
I'm sorry Epic. ~ for you and your mom.
I'm wearing navy with pink and orange stripes...I got dressed in about two minutes this AM and didn't even think about wearing red.
I got a smart phone when I moved to Vermont. Before that I had a ...not a dumb phone but not a smart phone either...not sure what to call it.
Having the ability to look up addresses of places or use the GPS function on the phone to find things with just a name was a huge benefit when I was really unfamiliar with the state.
Yay, Suzi! We're happy for you to whine--apparently it works for you!
Epic, all good thoughts to your mom--and you.
I have a smart phone. I got it for the larger keyboard for texting. Arthritis in my thumbs makes that problematic, though, I'm one-finger typing instead. I still don't use it as more than a phone, though. No games, no internet. I know, luddite. But it works for me.
I ended up trading my old flip phone for a smart(er) phone a little over a year ago - the old one's battery wasn't holding a charge and the signal was always weak. The new one ... it was the cheapest Galaxy they had and I mostly use it to make phone calls, although being able to check out something online when I was away was helpful.
Despite my love of technology, I didn't get my first smartphone until 2 or 3 years ago. I do love the GPS in it. That's super useful.
I pay about $25 per quarter for my pay-as-you-go phone (I don't call a lot of people). I don't want another monthly bill.
Congratulations, Suzi!
Epic, ~ma for your mom and for you getting through it with her.
I have used my day off to do basically nothing, so far. How come I can't get motivated to do anything much until about 7pm? Doesn't matter how much sleep I get or when I get up. I'm running on autoplay most of the daylight hours, and wide awake and ready to jam when the sun goes down... as long as I get an afternoon nap. idek
