That sounds fabulous. I'd love to do that.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That sounds like a lot of fun, Laura!
They have a picture page on FB. I'll try and take a bunch of pictures there too. We are going to drive DH's big ass truck so we have woods cred or something. [link]
Woods cred is totally what big ass trucks are for! Get it all muddy for him.
My dad called and we were catching up and he told me he started yoga. Much to his surprise he's liking it and wishesee his "busy retired schedule " would allow him to take it twice a week. It's yin yoga.
And he said besides the flexibility and posture benefits it's helping with his afroaerobics class. He started that because a friend told him about the African-Caribbean Theater and he went hoping listening to thr drumming would help him figure out salsa. And he likedid it so much and everyone he joined the aerobics class to spend more time with them but also learn some of the moves for the dance class.
Then he wandered into slightly problematic language but wandered back to "I have one set of friends who wouldn't understand the yogame and really wouldn't understand the aerobics but I don't worry about them too much".
And I'm sitting there really really impressed that my dad is doing this.
This is a really long winded way of saying holy crap Dad is practicing yoga and Africa-Caribbean dance!!!
askye, that's awesome! Yay for your dad!
It is!! He said he was pushing himself to keep his body and mind sharp. But it's cool that he is pushing his boundaries.
Thought of you, Steph:
Not quite "This is fine," but the vibe is there. Just discovered this site. I want one of pretty much all the things.
