I just drove past there yesterday.

I knew there was a Buffista in the area! Okay, tell you what: I'll rent a van, you go pick it up, I'll fly up there, I'll buy you dinner and a puppy (or whatever), I'll sleep on your couch, and I'll drive the van home with my new desk. What do you say?

Twenty hours? Yes that's nuts. Ten hours of you ALSO had some good reason to be in that city like visiting a friend and could add a day? Maybe. But 20 is a lot.

But I could fly there and rent a van and it would be a ten hour drive, which is totally doable.

Thanks, Calli. Part of it is me being so broke I can't imagine having that money for such a small thing. Part is not having much basis for comparison, not having dealt with the money side ever, and worrying about asking too much. Encouraging me to value my work is one thing Bill is very good at.

I did not get ltc up quick enough from her nap for her liking. So she somehow got out of her sleep sack and threw it on the floor to show her displeasure. This kid is too much.

The tickets were pricey but I'll be 40 this summer. The show is about one month before my birthday. So, I think I'll just start celebrating then!
