Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Drives me crazy, sumi. I'm so spoiled by DVRs now! Whenever possible I record the thing and watch it about 8 minutes time-delayed so I can FF through annoying ads.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I got 44. Didn't really surprise me.

Art Crawl!!!

I got 25 - I think my ability to fantasize and be a big picture person balanced my dislike of socializing and other stuff that would have made my score higher.

ETA: How does ADD interact with the Asperger's spectrum?

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

29 which has to be a factor of introversion because I don't think anyone who has met me f2f would ever think I wasn't neurotypical. But then I also answered as private me, not the sociable persona I put on around others.

eta: I'm totes neurotypical. That's never even been up for discussion. .

Thrive to spite them

ADD and Autism/Asperger's is a common thing. I'm going to get evaluated for ADD and I asked in my secret FBalance group if others had it too and I got a resounding yes.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I heard back from the head of volunteer services on the Denver Comic Con position I applied for.

"We'd like to have you meet with us to discuss the role and how you might fit. "

Does that sound like an interview to see if they want to pick me? Or that it is mine and we need to discuss how the new position fits within the current structure? The meeting will likely be on Saturday.

hip deep in pie

That sounds like an interview to me, Suzi.

Speaking of which... other people who've done group therapy, have you ever had an interview for joining a group? My therapist suggested joining this group, so I contacted the woman who runs it, and she asked me to come talk to her and the other therapist who runs it. I got there, and it was seriously like an interview. The group was full and they were interviewing me to see if I'd get a place on the waiting list, and how high my place would be. They kept saying they wanted to make sure I'd fit with the group, which I get, but I left feeling like I'd failed a test. They never called me back. It was weird. I've done group therapy before, and those times, you just had to show up. It wasn't like, this is AA and you should be in OA, you don't need this type of support, it was more like an exclusive therapy club. Has anyone else encountered this?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Never heard of it, but my experience is pretty much nil. Gotta say though, sounds like a great way to make people who already feel bad about themselves feel worse.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Sounds like a good way to get people to find a different therapist.
